New Surgical Instruments for BaYi Children’s Hospital!

A huge ‘thank you’ to Scanlan International for the tens of thousands of dollars (you read that correctly!) in precision surgical instruments and sterilizing trays donated to us for delivery to our partner hospital in Beijing! Our wonderful supporter, Teresa Weidenbacher, initiated this endeavor and we are so excited to let you all know that the instruments are in the hands of the BaYi Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiothoracic team! Just yesterday, the team used their new instruments for the first time and they are overjoyed! Our mission to help the program build its equipment and training infrastructure continues, and with this comes the ability to serve more children with increasing skill.
